The Maths Room helps Leaving Cert students prepare with structured lessons, focused question practice, and tools that make progress easy to track — the kind of support we wished we had when we were sitting the exam ourselves.

Meet the founders

Walter McMahon and Michael Keatinge co-founded The Maths Room while studying Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. Both are in second year and currently on First Class Honours. In their own Leaving Certificate, each achieved H1 grades in Higher Level Maths and Higher Level Applied Maths. They started the platform because they wanted to give Leaving Cert students the kind of clear, exam-focused grinds that actually made the difference for them.
